Once a year Conversation Cafes and co-hosts organize a week when everyone, everywhere is invited to sit down in small groups to consider together the most important questions in the world today. We live in challenging and complex times. No one knows THE answer, but everyone holds a piece of the answer. You can say your piece during Conversation Week. We, and the world, will be all listening.
Please begin your post with your city and country.

Are communities maintained by individuals to balance their most pressing needs or are individuals doomed to serve the communities needs? My observation of the situation is that abuses of power, abuses of process, lack of transparency as much as absurd violence a pleague on personal well being. It is also remarkable that most offenders, individuals abusing their power, distorting the legal processes and fogging the social issues are not aware of their behavior, hence not guilty. Shouldn’t we communicate better to improve this? If we do, what kind of actions can be proposed?
