About Us

Once a year Conversation Cafes and co-hosts organize a week when everyone, everywhere is invited to sit down in small groups to consider together the most important questions in the world today. We live in challenging and complex times. No one knows THE answer, but everyone holds a piece of the answer. You can say your piece during Conversation Week. We, and the world, will be all listening.

Tell Us About Your Conversation!

Vicki | Uncategorized | Saturday, March 31st, 2007

Have you participated in a face-to-face Conversation Cafe this week?  Please take a moment and do the survey.

Conversation Week 2007 is over on March 31 but the conversations go on about the ten key questions.

If you’ve participated face-to-face and want to tell the world what you learned, please go to The Conversation Week Blog and write an insight or two. Let us hear what went on at your table - or inside your mind.

If you want to discuss the questions online, our partner, dropping knowledge, has set up a discussion space where the world is invited to weigh in on any and all the questions online.  Add your insights. These questions are by no means exhausted by one week of conversations.

If you want to host a Conversation Cafe in the future using the Conversation Week questions, find all the resources you need for hosting at http://www.conversationcafe.org.  If you start an ongoing Conversation Cafe using any questions, write info@conversationweek.org, confirm you’ve done a training  live or online and we’ll list your ongoing Conversation Cafe on our website.

Conversation Week 2007 has been a pilot project to discover how the peoples of the world might sit down and reason together about the crucial issues of our times. These intimate yet global and nearly simultaneous conversations with feedback, like what you are providing through the survey and blogs, may allow us, the peoples of the world, to talk about what matters most
